Life is hard. It takes courage. At some point we can accept this. It is also amazing, beautiful, heart-opening, inspiring, and joy-filled. For all the madness, confusion, and craziness teenagers confront daily there are antidotes and remedies that make the journey much easier to navigate. It then becomes easier to see goodness and inspiring possibilities.
The qualities illustrated above are the playground for Teens Grow. This is the dance floor on which we choreograph a life filled with meaning and authenticity. It takes diligence, perseverance, willingness, and love. We accomplish this with our unwavering commitment to creating rich, fulfilling, authentic relationship with every teen we serve.
How We Do It
Relationship. Relationship. Relationship.
Teens Grow embraces a multifaceted approach to cultivating powerful, game-changing relationships with teens.
One-to-One
Groups and Teams
Individual time with a teenager can be the most impactful. Focusing on a variety of activities in an individual setting often creates the most authentic, vulnerable opportunities for real talk and growth.
Activities:
Podcasting, Life Chats/Real Talk
Group activities help teens grow in their emotional and social competency. Boundaries and self-care are established, as well as the idea that we are one human family in service to each other. Love grows.
Activities:
Group podcasts, Organized Participatory Sport, Workshops, Music Studio Production
Trips and Travel
Travel is life-transforming. Exposure to races and cultures shows us we are planetary citizens, and opens our world to endless possibility. Cultural competency and integration creates world peace.
Activities:
Local Trips in and around Santa Fe and within New Mexico, National Trips across the United States, Global Trips to Explore Our Planet.
From Idea to Reality...

I believe in the importance of relentlessly pursuing our "spark", embracing it, and holding on with everything we've got. Within each of us lies an undeniable story and beauty that makes us unique, vulnerable, and wonderfully perfect. We are here to live it.
As I've gotten later on in life, I've become much more aware of my responsibility for sharing what I have learned and been given. I have received so much guidance, love, and encouragement from many mentors and people that genuinely cared about me. I’ve also gotten my ass kicked all over the place through 49 years of being alive. Every one of these gray hairs has been earned. They tell stories. My purpose is to use what I have to help make the path even a little bit easier. Hopefully, more than that.
A life full of amazing experiences mixed with formal study and sincere searching have shaped me. I was trained at Holmes Institute for Consciousness Studies and Leadership, becoming a counselor in 1998, and was ordained in ministry a few years later. I've directed youth and family programs in local communities, as well as led regional and national week-long youth camps. I've spent years integrating understanding and insight, traveling to many countries globally uniting cultural competency and compassion. I have become devoted to celebrating the stories of our lives and sharing the love that I have to make our lives richer, better, and fulfilling.
Whatever your background, wherever you come from, whomever you are...The ONLY thing I am interested in is celebrating the dignity, beauty, and goodness of your life.
The greatest joy of my life is being a
dad to my extraordinary daughter.
